Boat tour

The willis is the most tallest tower at Chicago. The willis tower
construction started by 1970 completed by 1973. The boat tour was fun because we learned alot of architecture's history at Chicago.

Shadow is a interesting thing around our's life, but alot of people are not care of it. this shadow picture is about myself. I like it because it looks like very mystery. The ground of this picture is my carpet. I like this color.

Architectural Experience

I have a very good experience at Sears tower, which called willis tower now. It is a most famous and tallest building at Chicago. First time when i traveled there. I was very superised because the elevator at willis tower are so fast. From labby to 98 floors only take about 40 seconds. It is so unbliveble. I had see a ten minutes video about the buiding's information and how they made it. when I got 98 floor. The only things you saw is vast ground, huge lake and huge sky. Also you can see whole Chicago. Everythings become very small when you watch ground from the skydeck. People are like emmets. I had very good experience at willis tower.

MaYa Lin

Maya Lin was a Chinese American. She born at Athens Ohio. Maya Lin is one of the most prominent achitects in the 21st century. Although she started out in the 20st century, her vision and focus was always on how the space needed to be in the future and what it meant to people. She tried to focus less on how politics influenced desogn but more on what emotions the space would create and what it would symbolize to the user. Her belief in a space being connected and the transition from inside to outside being fluid, coupled with what a space means, has led her to create some very memorable designs. Along with architectural projucts, Maya Lin also worked on several sculptures. Below is a list of Maya Lin's most significant work. Her most important works are Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Washinton, D.C. and Civil Rights Memorial, Montgomery Alabama.
